Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this applied research is to study the effectiveness of gamification on corporate training.  Methodology: A gamified course was designed and implemented to train the location of Fire Hosing Cabinet for 24 employees of a firefighting maintenance company in Iran Mall shopping Center in Tehran. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental research plan (post-test only control group design) the participants of the study were randomly assigned to treatment (12) and control (12) groups and trained for a week.  Conclusion: The descriptive and interpretive result of the posttest analyses indicated the effectiveness of gamification of the training performed for the employees of the firefighting maintenance company in Iran Mall shopping Center in Tehran. Moreover, the descriptive result of Gamification Acceptance Questionnaire answered by the members of the experimental group after gamified training indicated that all the participants in the experimental group were satisfied with the gamified training course.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Considering the increasing importance of examining the effectiveness of faculty development programs in medical universities, the current study aimed to review various aspects of evaluation of the faculty development programs in medical education. Methods: This review study was conducted by searching the databases of Google Scholar, Medline, Eric, Scopus, Ovid, Science Direct, Medical Education, Medical teacher, PubMed, BMC, SAGE, and Magiran using the keywords staff training/development, in-service training, medical faculty, faculty training/ development, and program evaluation and their combinations. The aspects of faculty development programs evaluation were then reviewed. Results: A total of 62 articles were found of which 29 were selected for review. The aspects of development program evaluations were classified into four categories: theoretical evaluation model, evaluation data collection method, source of evaluation data, and evaluation findings. Most of the studies conducted to evaluate development programs followed Kirk Patrick’ s model. Questionnaire was the most common data collection tool. The sources of the data were mostly program attendants (faculty members), and evaluation results indicated the faculty’ s high satisfaction with the development programs. Conclusion: The results suggest that development program evaluations should utilize mixed evaluation methods and that the changes resulted from faculty development programs and the extent of using learned materials should be evaluated at the organizational level and workplace respectively.

Abstract: 

Objective: The present study was conducted with the aim of effective school-based self-control skill training on increasing psychological hardiness and self-efficacy of male students of the first secondary level.Method: This research is a semi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the present study included male students of the first secondary school in Qom city, 30 students were selected using the available sampling method and divided into two groups of 15 people completely randomly. Students in the experimental group participated in 8 sessions of the school-based self-control training program, and the control group did not receive training. Before and after the implementation of the intervention, both groups were evaluated using the psychological hardiness scale of Lang and Goulet (2003) and the self-efficacy scale of children and adolescents (SEQ-C). The data was analyzed using spss-22 software and through repeated measures analysis of variance test.Findings: The results showed that school-based self-control skill training has a significant effect on increasing students' psychological hardiness and self-efficacy (P<0.01). Conclusion: The findings of the present study indicated that school-based self-control skill training can be an effective intervention in increasing psychological hardiness and self-efficacy in students.

Abstract: 

 The present research has been conducted after the idea that the portion of LR.I Police personnel in producing wealth is low, so it is a need to develop LR.I police human resources. Lack of attention to human resource development would no doubt threaten national security. The model tested in this paper is the result of years of experience, combination of different models of human resource management, and expert’s opinions. A population of 257 people was assigned from which a sample was randomly selected. Questionnaire was used to obtain the required data. SPSS was used to analyze the data and clarify the statistical results. The results demonstrated that in order to develop LR.I police human resources, the following are important:-Human resource evaluation;-Training order - givers;-Continuity of teaching and training;-Job circulation;-One's opinion.

Abstract: 

ABSTRACT Over the past 50 years since the first research in the field of urban development implementation plans, there has been a noticeable absence of a comprehensive literature review on this topic in the global arena. This article provides a textual analysis related to the subject of urban development implementation plans, to identify important and recurring themes alongside analyzing the relationships between authors, journals, and countries in this field. Along with the bibliographic analysis, documents related to the field of urban development implementation plans were reviewed to identify influential indicators in their implementation. To this end, 456 scientific articles were extracted from the Scopus scientific database as of October 28th, 2022, and analyzed using scientometric software. These analyses include examining author keywords, country co-authorships, journal bibliographic coupling, and author co-citations. In this study, 74 final indicators were identified as the most recurrent indicators in this field. The bibliographic analysis also produced several noteworthy results. The United States is the most active country in this field, with a link strength of 40 and 176 articles. Berke, P. is the most influential author in this field, with a link strength of 1623 and 99 citations. Among the journals examined, "Land Use Policy" has the highest bibliographic coupling strength of 84, and the "Journal of the American Planning Association" has the highest number of documents related to this field, with 22 documents; finally, among the identified. Extended Abstract Introduction The implementation of urban development projects has been a neglected topic in public policy research, despite its critical importance in ensuring the success of such projects. While there have been numerous studies on the factors that contribute to the success or failure of policy implementation, there has been a lack of systematic reviews on the subject of implementation as a whole. This study aims to address this gap in knowledge by providing a comprehensive overview of the implementation process of urban development projects. The study begins by collecting and categorizing existing research in the field, focusing on three main questions: -What are the key indicators for successful implementation? -What are urban journals and articles' current trends and performance? -How do countries and researchers collaborate in this area? The study also examines the relationships between authors, publishers, and different types of documents through bibliographic analysis. Ultimately, this study highlights the need for further research and a more structured approach to understanding the implementation process of urban development projects.   Methodology This study examined the literature related to implementation and evaluation plans in urban and land use planning. The authors used the Scopus database to extract and collect data, focusing on combining the keywords "implementation-plan" and "evaluation-plan" in the keywords, abstracts, and titles. Initially, 621 studies were extracted, but 456 articles were selected as the final database after filtering out non-article documents. The authors observed a general upward trend for studies from 1968 to 2022, with a significant increase in the slope of the trend from 2007. However, a slight decrease in studies was observed in 2021 and 2022, possibly due to the global pandemic and the emergence of new related topics. The authors used a four-stage process to analyze the bibliographic subject of the study, including simultaneous occurrence analysis, co-authorship analysis, bibliographic coupling analysis, co-citation analysis, content analysis, and thematic analysis. The authors identified the selected articles' research objectives, methodologies, findings, and main themes and sub-themes. Overall, this study provides a comprehensive analysis of the literature on implementation and evaluation plans in urban and land use planning.   Results and discussion This research aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation and execution of urban development plans using bibliometrics and systematic analysis. The study considers evaluation as a crucial part of the implementation process and seeks to answer three fundamental questions. Firstly, it identifies effective indicators of implementation and execution globally. Secondly, it examines the trends and performances of new articles and urban journals. Thirdly, it investigates the pattern of cooperation among countries and researchers. The study identifies 74 general indicators that significantly impact the implementation process of urban plans. The results show that "performance evaluation," "effectiveness," "land use," "zonation," "participation," "program quality," and "implementation program" are critical indicators in this area. The study also highlights the importance of evaluation in the discussion of program implementation and its separability from the implementation process. Using the scientometric software VOSviewer, the study analyzed 68 keywords related to the bibliographic topic. "Program evaluation" obtained the first place, followed by "Program implementation" and "Program quality." The co-authorship analysis based on author items revealed that Berke, P. has the highest number of citations and link strength. Additionally, the study found that 72 countries have research in this field, with 22 countries having at least 5 citations that were clustered into 5 clusters by the software. The "land use policy" journal had the highest link strength, and the "Journal of the American planning association" had the highest number of documents related to this field. In conclusion, the study provides valuable insights for policymakers and researchers interested in urban development planning. It comprehensively examines the implementation and execution of urban development plans, identifies effective indicators, and investigates the pattern of cooperation among countries and researchers. The study highlights the importance of evaluation in the implementation process and its separability from the implementation process.   Conclusion The main goal of this research was to fill the gap in research on the implementation and execution of urban development projects in the field, as no systematic review of the topic has been conducted from a global perspective since the first research in this field about half a century ago. Only in some studies, such as those by Talen (1996), Oliveira & Pinho (2010), Rudolf & Grădinaru (2017), has the evaluation of implementation been systematically reviewed, or the systematic review of experiences in a specific urban area, such as the review of various experiences in the Beijing urban area (Chu, 2020). In this research, with the comprehensive approach that the evaluation of implementation is an integral part of the overall process of implementing and executing urban development projects, this process has been examined from the perspective of bibliometrics and systematic analysis of this field. The main difference of this research, which makes it completely new, is firstly having a comprehensive approach to the implementation field, where program evaluation is only an important part of its structure, and secondly, using the scientometric software VOSviewer for the first time in this field. In essence, the conclusive outcomes of this investigation were entirely novel and exhibited some partial congruences with antecedent studies in the domain of appraising and discerning indicators. Significantly, this research has conferred a systematic appraisal of the literature concerning the urban implementation and execution of projects, which is an unprecedented contribution. It should be acknowledged that this is an initial survey of data intended to offer a comprehensive outlook on this scholarly field, and thus it is subject to certain limitations, such as its confinement to the Scopus database. As such, it is recommended that future research endeavors encompass an analysis of additional databases and undertake comparative evaluations of the results. Abstract: 

Sustainability is a pattern for thinking about the future in which environmental, social and economic considerations, are in a balanced state with each other, in order to improve the quality of life. Sustainable city is a city in which due to economic use of resources, avoid to producing too much waste and recycling them as much as possible and adopt effective policies, is able to maintain its existence. Training is a helper factor for achieving to sustainability paradigm, especially in the cities, and it is necessary to being consistent to functional assumptions of sustainable development. Training should be changed in structure and in terms of content. This paper aims to identify and understand the role of education in sustainable development, in particular sustainable urban development, and analytic studies relying on documents, including international declarations, to check the status of education in sustainable development, within the framework of international treaties and agreements, conceptual and epistemological aspects that have been investigated. The results show that the concept formulation of the education for sustainable development, by organizations like UNESCO, has properly done. But at the end of the decade of “education for sustainable development”, some problems have been remained, particularly in developing countries, therefore The future international efforts in this regard should be directed towards developing countries and cities.

Abstract: 

AbstractPurpose: The velocity of change in the surrounding world has forced them to identify those factors which impact their change capacity. The present study was conducted to identify and prioritize influential factors on organizational change capacity.Methodology: In terms of purpose, this was explorative and applied research. Its population included ten familiar experts with research subjects in a research and training center. By reviewing the literature on change capacity, relevant, influential factors were identified, and they were concurred by the fuzzy Delphi technique, and then they were ranked. After recognizing influential factors, a pair comparisons questionnaire was distributed among ten experts, and after gathering the questionnaires, effecting factors were ranked using the Expert Choice11 Software package and AHP technique.Findings: Results show that organizational culture, structure, and style of leadership were the main factors that impacted change capacity.Conclusion: The influential factors can be divided into three categories: environmental, content, and structural elements. Environmental factors include environment and innovation; content factors include team working, intellectual capital, leadership, political behavior, and human resource management; Structural elements include strategy, structure, organizational policies, information technology, knowledge management, and technology. Value: This is the first time in the literature that the influential variables affecting the change capacity were recognized and categorized in a conceptual classification that has not been seen in the previous research.

Abstract: 

The current research was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of training courses held for teachers based on the Kirkpatrick model. The research population is all the people who participated in the mentioned training courses and finally, 123 people who participated in the courses during 2013-2014 were selected as a sample through simple random sampling method. This research is descriptive in terms of data collection, practical in terms of purpose, and evaluation in terms of function. To collect information in the first level, the reaction level evaluation form was used, and in the second and third levels, a questionnaire was used to evaluate learning and behavior. One-sample t-test was used to analyze the obtained data. The findings of the research indicated that there was no optimal effectiveness in all four levels of reaction, learning, behavior and results, and the main reasons for this were the failure to conduct a needs assessment for the mentioned courses, and the lack of mastery of the professors of the courses. The content and method of teaching, lack of attention and correct criteria to attract the professors of the courses, lack of motivation in the teachers to participate effectively in the courses and attend only to receive certificates and degrees, and lack of attention to useful and practical content in the courses.

Abstract: 

There have been many changes to information systems in the last decade. Changes in information systems require users to constantly up–date their computer knowledge and skills. Computer training is a critical issue for any user because it offers great capabilities for the users. This papers discuses the meaning of subjective computer training and its role on computer training. The results of the study show that Subjective Computer Training Scale (SCTS) is reliable and valid. The existence of a reliable and valid scale of computer training makes assessment possible and should have implications in all organization such as community health centers and hospitals.
